Welcome to Private Swim Lessons

How it works

Private swim lessons take place at your pool or club and are tailored to your swimmer specifically. For beginners, that means building water confidence with floats and kicking before introducing strokes at a pace that works for them. For more experienced swimmers, lessons focus on stroke mechanics, turns, dives, and race efficiency.

Who I work with

I'm comfortable working with swimmers of all ages and ability levels — from young children building water confidence for the first time to competitive swimmers looking to refine their technique and drop time. Every swimmer is different, and I adjust to them rather than following a one-size-fits-all progression.

Experience

I'm a certified swim instructor through the Arlington Heights Park District with over two years of experience and hundreds of lessons taught to swimmers aged 3 to 13. As Head Coach of the Recreation Stingrays 11-12 competitive group, every swimmer I coached dropped time. As a swimmer myself — four-year varsity team captain at Hersey, water polo starter, and current triathlete at UVA — I know what good technique actually looks like from the inside.
